Pamela R. Hashem is a national fundraising consultant. She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Wright State University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Pamela has served as a legislative aide to State Representative and Majority Leader Pat Tiberi, now a U.S. Congressman. After serving as a legislative aide to Representative Tiberi, she became the Finance Director for his first congressional race for the 1999 Primary and the 2000 General campaigns in which she directed a $2.3 million fundraising campaign (nationally, the second highest amount of money raised for an open seat).
In 2002, she directed the successful fundraising campaign of Lt. Governor Maureen OConnor to the Ohio Supreme Court. This campaign raised more than $1.7 million, which broke state and national fundraising records.
In January of 2003, Pamela established PRH Consulting Group, LLC, a professional fundraising consulting firm located in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2004 Pamela directed the $1.5 million winning campaign for the re-election of Chief Justice Thomas Moyer to the Ohio Supreme Court and the $500,000 Ohio fundraising campaign for Congressman Dave Hobson. She also consulted on the winning campaign of Betty Ireland for West Virginia Secretary of State the first female elected to an executive office in the state of West Virginia. In 2005, Pamela led a $3 million campaign to pass Ohio State Issue 1 a bond issue supporting job creation and economic growth.
In 2006, the most challenging political environment Ohio Republicans faced in the past 16 years, all of PRH's candidates were victorious (Taylor for Auditor of State, ODonnell for Supreme Court, Cupp for Supreme Court and Hobson for Congress). The firm raised more than $6,000,000 for its clients that year, including more then $2 million for Ohio State Issue 2 - the opposition effort to raise the minimum wage in Ohio.
In 2007, the firm continues fundraising for Auditor Taylor and Congressman Hobson. Recently, PRH added to its client roster Rudy Giulianis Presidential Committee and Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives John Boehner. Current and past clients also include the Ohio Republican Party, the National Republican Congressional Committee, former U.S. Senator Mike DeWine and Franklin County Prosecutor Ron OBrien.
To date, PRH has raised more than $20,000,000 for its clients.
Pamela has also served as the Director of Government Relations for the Ohio State Medical Association. As Director, she lobbied state and federal executive and legislative bodies on health-care issues.
In 2002, Pamela graduated from the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute. Currently she serves as a member of the Board of the Capital Area Republican Women.
